Our 55 Gallon Lab Pack / Open Head Drum is constructed of yellow blow-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with UV inhibitors, so it is both durable and lightweight at the same time as being weather and chemical resistant. The open top features a white lid with a plastic lever-lock band closure.
The drum is ideal for; safe storage, handling and transportation of hazardous materials, spill containment and cleanup of hazardous materials, as an original shipping container, or as a bio-waste disposal and incineration container. Use as an overpack with smaller non-damaged bottles, cans, carboys and 5-gallon pails of non-leaking hazardous materials.
